In our tree nurseries we grow over 100 varieties of trees, some from seed and others from small nursery stock. They start out in large beds as bare root and later will be transferred to pots for sale. We grow all of our trees organically as we are committed to the health of our land.
We chose species of trees that will provide food, medicine,
animal and bee fodder as well as high quality furniture wood and nitrogen fixation.
Each year we are expanding our selection of trees as we find more species suitable to be grown here on Salt Spring Island. Fifty percent of the profits from nursery sales go to support our African permaculture and reforestation projects.
