“Salt Spring Middle School students are taking part in a project to combat climate change that has a potentially global reach.”

“The trees will grow in a nursery set up on the school grounds. Over the last week, classes have been going out to the nursery and planting the big leaf maple trees with Nickels. Kids planted three seedlings in each pot to ensure at least one of the seedlings survives.”
